WP fire Protection is a company that is set up for the distinct purpose of servicing, maintaining, inspecting and testing of existing fire sprinkler systems of any type in the metropolitan area.

We have a professional and courteous staff who are always available to respond to your fire sprinkler service needs. If your system malfunctions for any reason we are there for you 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 52 weeks of every year and that includes holidays to get your system back in service promptly and efficiently. Our highly trained and very experienced service crews travel to your sites in fully equipped and stocked service trucks with the ability to tackle all types of repair work regardless of the size. Your fire protection is our number one priority and if it is humanly possible we will leave your fire protection system in service before we leave your location. In addition, we stand ready to correct any defects that fire inspectors may find at your location.

We are intimately familiar with all of the fire codes and know exactly what is needed to correct any violations you may be issued by local fire authorities. • Wet pipe system • Dry pipe system • Pre-action and deluge system • Fire and jockey pump (electric and diesel) • Backflow installation and testing • Fire hydrant flow test • On site training of personnel

TESTING PROCEDURE


• Operation of control valves • Water Flow Test (includes main drain and inspector’s test valve) • Dry valve drip test and operation of low point drum drip drains (full trip test required every 3 years) • Alarm test (tampers and flow switches) • Visual inspection of system piping to determine condition of piping and proper pitch • Walk through of all areas to ensure proper spacing of sprinkler heads • Visual inspection of fire department connection • Annual fire pump test and flow • Visual inspection of operation of jockey pump
